Youtube’s End Card or End Screen is a CTA (Call to Action) type usually used in Youtube. It usually appears in the last 5-20 seconds of a video. You can use it to promote other videos, playlists, your website, add a button to subscribe and so on.

Here are a few examples of how End Cards we created look like:

Do I need an End Card?

End Card is not necessary, however it is a powerful feature to promote your Youtube channel, your videos, playlists, website or add any CTA you want. It's a way to get people to subscribe or continue on watching your other similar videos.

How do I get them?

These End Cards are created along with your video design template. You can select any of our 18 customizable templates for free when you subscribe and we adjust them based on your brand - we change colors, fonts, logos, etc.

How do I add videos to the shapes and make them clickable?

Once you have your End Card, your editor will add it to the end of your Youtube videos. As you can see from the examples, there are unfilled shapes there. These shapes show you where your actual videos that you want to promote are added (rectangle shapes), as well as where your logo will be placed in order for viewers to subscribe (circle shape).

You can add videos and your logo on top of your End Card in Youtube Studio. These are added in Youtube in order to make them clickable and responsive, which is not done in the editing process. To add videos and logo on top of your End Card in Youtube, follow these steps:

  • Sign in to YouTube Studio.

  • From the left menu, select Content.

  • Click the video you’d like to edit.

  • Click the End screen box and choose the element you want to add.

  • Click SAVE

Note:

  • Your video has to be at least 25 seconds long to have an end screen.

  • Other interactive elements, like card teasers and video watermarks, are suppressed during the end screen.

  • End screens aren’t available for videos set as made for kids.
